Getting Started
Inspect authentication, reputation, accessibility, Gmail clipping, AI analysis, and light or dark message previews.
Every captured message is parsed and analyzed asynchronously. Use Get Analysis and List Previews after the message has been received.
Analysis
The analysis object can contain:
- Rspamd score, required score, action, symbols, and status.
- SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and ARC results, including alignment and DNS details.
- BIMI, MTA-STS, and TLS-RPT reports.
- MX and DNS observations, reverse-DNS context, and IP and link RBL outcomes.
- Unsubscribe headers and one-click validation.
- Message size and decoded HTML size (
html_bytes) used for Gmail clipping. - Accessibility score and individual issues.
- Optional AI analysis with score, verdict, symbols, and model metadata.
Use Reprocess Analysis to queue analysis again. Run AI Analysis runs the optional AI analysis and stores the result when the account policy permits it.
Gmail clipping
Gmail clipping is based on the decoded HTML body, not the total MIME message size. The message is considered clipped when the HTML part exceeds 102 KB (102400 bytes by default); the API exposes the measured value as html_bytes.
Previews
The service generates light and dark previews for the neutral inbox-reader frame. A preview moves through pending, ready, or failed, and includes its renderer, dimensions, image URL, and warnings. Use Download Preview Image to fetch the image.
Dark previews recolor email content using Gmail/Outlook-style background and text rules while preserving the message structure. Recoloring is bounded and non-fatal: if it cannot complete, the preview still falls back to the safe text renderer rather than blocking the entire message preview.
Coverage
Get Coverage combines light and dark preview status with the message's size warnings. Its clients rows identify the neutral inbox frame and its light and dark statuses; gmail_clip indicates HTML clipping.
