  2. Choose Your Organization: In the side navigation menu, locate the 'Organization' tab. Click this and select the organization for which you want to create a template.

Step 2: Navigate to Templates

  1. Open the Templates Section: Once you're inside the organization, you'll see a drop-down menu under your organization. In this menu, select 'Templates.'
  2. Template Overview: You’ll be directed to the template page. If you have any existing templates, they will be displayed here. If not, don’t worry – you can create a new one.

Step 3: Create a New Template

  1. Click "Create New Template": To start building a template, click the 'Create New Template' button in the top-right corner of the screen.

  1. Name Your Template: A modal will pop up prompting you to name your template. Give it a unique and meaningful name, which will make it easy to identify when setting up your campaigns.

Step 4: Edit Your Template

  1. View the Template: After naming your template, it will appear on the template page. If you don’t see it right away, refresh the page.

Step 5: Customize Your Template in the Editor

In the Template Editor, you can fully customize the look and feel of your template, including:

  • Adding text: Write content that can be reused in multiple campaigns.
  • Inserting images: Use your brand’s logo or relevant images to enrich your email’s visuals.
  • Design elements: Change colours, fonts, buttons, and overall layout to fit your campaign’s style.
  • Adding Organization Tags: Tags allow you to pass data into the template when it is sent and with the image above you can see we used {{ company_name }} which in the settings of our organization we defined as 'Maileroo'. Any time this email gets sent it will automatically pass that value into the template each time.

Make sure to save your work as you go to ensure you don't lose any chances!

Step 6: Save and Use Your Template

Once you're happy with the design of your template:

  1. Save Your Template: Click 'Save' in the editor to store your changes.
  2. Use Your Template: Now, you can easily use this template when creating a new campaign. Just select the template from your list, and your email design will be automatically loaded into your campaign.

Conclusion

By following these steps, you can create and edit templates in Maileroo, making it easier to build consistent, branded email campaigns. Having reusable templates saves time and ensures your emails maintain a professional and cohesive look across different campaigns.
