What happens if I go over my hourly limit?
At Maileroo, all new accounts receive an hourly limit that gradually grows as they use our services. Initially, for users on our plans, you will receive an hourly limit that is proportionate to your monthly limit. This allows us to protect our users from those who try to use Maileroo for spam or any other prohibited reasons. You can appeal for larger sending limits by contacting our support team who will look over your use case and identify if the increase is necessary or required.
Emails that are sent beyond the hourly limit are simply dropped by our system and will not reach their intended destination.
- E.g. If you have a limit of 10 emails per hour and you try to send 11 in the hour, the 11th email will be dropped by the system.
We don’t queue emails until your limit is reset in the next hour.
If you have any further questions, please contact our support team who will try to help you with your queries.
What happens if I send more emails than my monthly limits allow?
Free accounts are limited to 5,000 emails a month. For our paid plans you can see the monthly limits on our pricing page here.
Any email sent after you exceed your monthly limit will be dropped by our system. We do not queue emails until your limit resets.
If you require a higher monthly limit, we recommend our users look into our plans to determine which might be the best for their requirements.
