How do I setup 2FA?

At Maileroo, we offer you the ability to implement further security into your account. Two-factor authentication (2FA) stands as a formidable ally in this quest for security. Beyond the traditional username and password, 2FA adds a layer of protection by requiring a secondary verification step.

  1. To implement 2FA you must be logged into your account. You can do this here. 
  2. Visit your profile by clicking here or navigate yourself from the dashboard to your profile which can be seen in the top right of your screen. 

  1. In your profile, you will have many options to update your details. Located at the bottom of your profile is the ‘Two Factor Authentication’ section. To get started make sure you have downloaded a 2FA app such as ‘Google Authenticator’ on your mobile device.
  2. Simply scan the QR code and follow the instructions mentioned by the 2FA app. 
  3. Fill out the 2FA code in your profile and update
  4. You have now successfully set up 2FA on your Maileroo account
